What Is Staking In VulcanVerse?

Staking in VulcanVerse is an optional bonus exclusive to land owners.

VulcanVerse land owners can benefit from staking their land NFTs with PYR.
Staking is a great way to use your PYR tokens to generate passive income.

You will receive daily payouts in PYR sent directly to your market wallet within My Forge.
Your land NFT is eligible for rewards once it is upgraded to the minimum eligible staking level of 2.

How Does Staking Work?

Land staking is the process of temporarily locking your PYR tokens within your VulcanVerse land NFT.
To be eligible for your daily PYR rewards you must earn the required amount of XP in VulcanVerse.

The amount of XP you will need to earn to qualify for staking rewards increase with the amount of land you own.
To qualify for staking rewards each day you will need to earn the amounts of XP listed in the graphic below.

VulcanVerse land NFTs can be upgraded to a maximum level of 7 to reap the most rewards from your land.
Land NFTs can also have their rewards boosted by owning one of the many VulcanVerse God NFTs.

The staking pool is shared across all players who have PYR staked within their land NFTs.
Higher level lands receive higher rewards for the larger amount of staked PYR.

Upgrading your land is optional and the following fee structure applies to each upgrade level.

Where Does My Sowing Fee Go?

All sowing fees are one time non-refundable payments which are distributed as follows.

50% of the sowing fee goes towards the staking rewards pool.
30% of the sowing fee goes directly to Vulcan.
20% of the sowing fee will be burned.

• A 10% equivalent of the PYR sow fee on each level will be paid in LAVA.
  
• Example: to upgrade to level 3 you need 90 PYR + 10% of the full sow fee in LAVA.
  
• The exact amount of LAVA will be decided on a moving average prior to the next land level being unlocked.

Avatar Level & Land Staking

Your avatar must be upgraded to the appropriate level before you can stake your land.

In order to stake at level 2, for example, your avatar must be upgraded to at least level 2 using the appropriate amount of XP.

In order to stake at level 3, your avatar must be upgraded again to at least level 3 using the appropriate amount of XP.

You can upgrade your avatar in the 'My Profile' section of My Forge.

Vulcan requires that you sacrifice your experience points to level up in VulcanVerse.
Below are the requirements to upgrade your avatar to each new level, these requirements may be changed at any time.

Level 2	10,000 XP
Level 3	30,000 XP
Level 4	40,000 XP
Level 5	50,000 XP
Level 6	60,000 XP
Level 7	70,000 XP

Staking Rewards Pool

The staking reward pool contains 10 million PYR and will be paid to land staking participants in four years.
The reward method is linear, the pool pays out 10 million PYR in 1460 payment terms.

This is roughly 6900 daily PYR distributed between all eligible land plots.
We are using a ‘share-based system’ for staking rewards.
Vulcan Verse land plots with 50 PYR staked represent 50 shares, while land plots staked with, for example, 350 PYR represents 350 shares.
The payout will be determined using (6900 $PYR / total shares eligible) * your shares.
