Game of the Week
Game of the Week or Vulcan Forged's Game of the Week is where one of the Vulcan Forged games is chosen at random and players have one week to play that game to be in with the chance of winning a 500 LAVA prize.
Concept and Beginnings
Game of the Week was introduced on 22nd August 2022 through a video shared on Vulcan Forged social media channels. The first game of the week chosen at random was Berserk. Game of the Week was devised to provide players with focus on a particular game, and reward those playing the most / the best at that particular game. It has proven useful in introducing players to games they would not normally consider playing as well as giving the company a good way of testing the current game - players are encouraged to provide feedback in the appropriate Vulcan Forged Discord channel.
The Draw
Each Monday a wheel spin (through https://wheelofnames.com/) takes place and one of eight Vulcan Forged games is chosen as that week's Game of the Week. The wheel spin video is shared on the Vulcan Forged Discord. Staff will announce what the required XP / points / coins to be eligible for a prize is, depending on the nature of the game.

In future, Vulcan Assassins is expected to be added to the list. Note - each week, the previous week's Game of the Week is taken out of the wheel spin, so there are usually 7 games in the randomizer.
Determining Winners
After a week's play (generally the following Monday) a snapshot of the leaderboard for the current game is taken. Players in the top 10 or meeting the set required total will either win 500 LAVA each or, in the event that there are many players, will be entered into a randomizer such as a wheel spin to determine who wins the LAVA.
